How I work

I've always had the greatest fun building things that work well, react quickly, feel great, and look good, no matter whether the job was something technical, or design-related.

I am good at breaking down complex issues in technology, design, and storytelling into accessible, jargon-free language, in fluent English and German.

While cautious about AI in many ways, I hugely enjoy showing my peers how to make use of the technology in their own workflows, and helping them take their work to completely new dimensions.

Genuinely curious about the companies, people and products that I work for, I am known for an efficient but friendly and constructive communication style.

My story

Born in Finland in 1980 and raised in Germany, I moved to the Canary Islands in 2014, embarking on an adventure of a lifetime that continues to this day.
I am slowly renovating a large off-the-grid finca, enjoying a wonderful, tight-knit tiny community, and working remotely and locally.
Growing up in the middle of a southern German family startup has taught me to get things done, double check that they actually work, and never waste anyone's time.
I am a nature lover.
My passions include drawing, illustrating comics, painting, and writing texts and stories.
I spend much of my spare time working on various construction projects, and small first steps at seriously growing food.
